2. Brazil terminates anti-dumping investigation on Chinese food-grade phosphoric acid

On June 26, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 48 of 2025. During the on-site verification, the data verification provided by the domestic industry was insufficient, which affected the complete correctness and credibility of the data in the application and supplementary information report, and the evidence of damage to the domestic industry was weakened. The anti-dumping investigation on food-grade phosphoric acid originating in China, Morocco and Mexico was terminated. The Mercosur tariff number of the product involved is 2809.20.11. The announcement will take effect from the date of publication.

3. Brazil makes preliminary anti-dumping ruling on Chinese ethanolamine

On June 26, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 49 of 2025, making a positive preliminary anti-dumping ruling on ethanolamine originating from China, but did not recommend the imposition of a provisional anti-dumping duty, continued the investigation, and extended the deadline for making a final ruling on this case to within 18 months from the date of filing. This case involves products under Mercosur tariff numbers 2922.11.00 and 2922.12.00.

4. Brazil launches second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on safety glass for refrigeration equipment in China

On June 25, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil

issued Announcement No. 47 of 2025, in response to the application submitted by the Brazilian domestic association Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Vidro (ABIVIDRO) on January 29, 2025, to initiate the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on safety glass for refrigeration equipment originating in China. The Mercosur tariff number of the product involved is 7007.19.00. The announcement will take effect from the date of publication. Unless otherwise extended (up to 2 months), the final ruling of this case will be made within 10 months.

5. Brazil launches second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on Chinese refractory ceramic filters

On June 25, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil

issued Announcement No. 46 of 2025, in response to the application submitted by Foseco Industrial e Comercial Ltda., a domestic Brazilian enterprise, on January 30, 2025, to launch the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on refractory ceramic filters originating from China. The Mercosur tariff numbers of the products involved are 6903.90.91 and 6903.90.99. The announcement will take effect from the date of publication. Unless otherwise extended (up to 2 months), the final ruling of this case will be made within 10 months.

6. India launches anti-dumping investigation on China's para-tert-butylphenol

On June 26, 2025, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued an announcement stating that, at the request of Indian manufacturer Vinati

Organics Limited, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated on para-tert-butylphenol originating in or imported from China. This case involves products under Indian customs code 2907 1940. Stakeholders in this case should submit relevant information to the investigation authority by email within 30 days from the date of filing the case.

7. India launches the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on China's methyl acetoacetate

On June 26, 2025, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued an announcement stating that, at the request of Indian manufacturer Laxmi

Organics Industries Limited, a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation was initiated on methyl acetoacetate originating in or imported from China. The Indian customs codes of the products involved are 29183040, 29146990, 29153910, 29153940, 29153990, 29183090, 29331990, 29410090 and 29189900. Interested parties should submit relevant information to the investigation authority by email within 30 days from the date of filing the case.
