According to customs data, the export volume of lithium hydroxide in China reached 7831.04 tons in October, down 38% from the previous month and about 24% year-on-year. Among them, the export volume to South Korea and Japan reached 5770.75 tons and 1695.96 tons respectively, accounting for 73.69% and 21.66% of China's total export volume for the month, a month-on-month decrease of 43.76% and 17.78% respectively, and a year-on-year decrease of 8.52% and 38.32%. The average export price of lithium hydroxide in China in October was 12604.51 US dollars per ton, a decrease of 30.4% compared to the previous month and a year-on-year decrease of 70.15%.

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, the export volume of China Ferrous lithium phosphate in October 2024 was 310.5 tons, a decrease of 42% compared to the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 1453%.

The average export price of lithium iron phosphate in October 2024 was 6453 US dollars per ton, a decrease of 1.8% compared to the previous month and a year-on-year decline of 60%.

According to customs import data, the import volume of Ferrous lithium phosphate in October 2024 was 14.378 tons, and the average import price was 19655 US dollars per ton.

Research has found that the export data of lithium iron phosphate shows monthly fluctuations, with a slight decline in October compared to September, but the export volume is already relatively high compared to before. With the increasing attention and acceptance of lithium iron phosphate in overseas markets, it is expected that the export volume of lithium iron phosphate will have a significant increase in 2025 compared to 2024. In addition to Ferrous lithium phosphate, iron phosphate is also exported to overseas. At present, the anode or battery in overseas Ferrous lithium phosphate can not be directly used in power or energy storage, and will be gradually promoted from some small-scale application scenarios.

According to the data of China Customs, in October 2024, the cumulative export volume of lithium hexafluorophosphate from China was 1200 tons, an increase of about 27.1% over the previous month. Among them, the cumulative import of lithium hexafluorophosphate in China is 0.03 tons.

On the exports side, the export volume of lithium hexafluorophosphate from China in October 2024 was 1200 tons, an increase of about 27.1% compared to September and a decrease of about 25.2% year-on-year.

Generally speaking, foreign demand for lithium battery products has rebounded, and the procurement of raw material has increased to some extent. The growth rate of overseas demand for lithium batteries has increased slightly.
